Pavement Rehabilitation Inside the Miami International Airport Fuel Facility
At the MIA - Miami International Airport Fuel Facility, Brightway executed pavement rehabilitation across a 9,544-square-foot work area. The scope required milling existing asphalt to a depth of approximately 3.5 to 4 inches in required areas, hauling the removed material, applying tack coat and placing a new 1.5-inch lift of Type S-III hot mix asphalt.
Rolling and compaction restored a smooth, uniform pavement surface, while existing pavement markings within the work area were repainted. The project expands Brightway's aviation portfolio beyond specialty cutting by showing pavement execution inside an airport-support environment.
