Absorbing Civil Complexity
Detailed engineering narrative covering execution conditions, trade coordination, and regulatory compliance under compressed site constraints.
One Trench. Two Disciplines. One Continuous Flow Path.
Brightway's scope at 3474 Frow Avenue combined underground installation with drainage and exfiltration work. A Type D-4 inlet, perforated and solid HDPE, an exfiltration trench, filter fabric and washed rock, a trench drain and a baffle formed the collection, conveyance and exfiltration path.
The project demonstrates why underground utilities and drainage should not be separated artificially in the portfolio. Excavation, pipe installation, drainage structures, exfiltration components and backfill had to work as one below-grade system from trench to finished flow path.
