Rebuilding the Site From Below Grade to Finished Surface

Pirata Restaurant is a full-site civil story, not a single-service drainage job. Brightway executed demolition, excavation and a new drainage/exfiltration system, then rebuilt the concrete and pavement surfaces affected by that work. The drainage package combined collection structures, manholes, perforated and solid HDPE, PVC storm piping, an exfiltration trench, filter fabric, washed rock and a trench drain.

The sequence moved logically from demolition and trench excavation to collection, conveyance and exfiltration. Once the below-grade system was in place, Brightway restored the site with Type D curb, a new concrete walkway, compacted subgrade/sub-base, limerock base and hot-mix asphalt.
